PaperCut & Quocirca report

Newsletter-Quocirca2025.png

By print industry prophet, Chris G

We’ve teamed up with research company Quocirca to bring you the second edition of the Print 2025 report. It’s packed with insights from sysadmins, IT managers, and end users on the landscape of printing over the next five years.

How we’re promoting the report

We’ll be sharing insights from the report via social media, blogs, and emails. These channels will also link to our new content hub, Printing in 2020 and Beyond (Pi2020), where visitors can download a summarized version of the report.

How you can get the report

You can also download a summarized copy of the report at our new content hub.
NOTE: Please do not directly share the downloaded report with partners and/or customers. Instead, direct them to the Pi2020 page.

How you can help our efforts

There are two ways you can help us promote the report and Pi2020:

  1. Direct partners and customers to the Pi2020 content hub to download the report.
  2. Use assets (coming soon in a Campaign in a Box) to promote the Pi2020 content hub.

Lastly, we’re not the only sponsor of the report, so you’ll likely see some promotion efforts from Y Soft and others. That being sad, let’s do our best to come out on top!

Fresh stats for a fresh Mobility Print

Newsletter-MobilityPrint.png

By Mobility Print maestro, Willem G

On the back of Mobility Print becoming a free alternative to Google Cloud Print, we've got some juicy numbers (as of December 13) to tell its launch story.

Mobility Print stats

  • Product page visits: 17,271
  • Downloads: 2,734

Less quantifiably, forum-goers are giving Mobility Print the nod over directprint.io and PrinterLogic thanks to 100% printer support (our competitors only tout around 85%).

We're all hands on deck to make Mobility Print's product launch a roaring success, so we'll keep you updated. Until then, thanks heaps for getting the message out and sharing the new page!

PaperCut wins big at BLI Awards

By social media guru, Mikaela

PaperCut version 19 was named the Keypoint Intelligence Buyers Lab (BLI) 2020 Pick Award winner in the Outstanding Cost Accounting & Cost Control Solution category!

BLI is the world’s leading independent evaluator of document imaging software – and their depth of testing is unmatched – so we’re once again honored to be acknowledged for our work.

Here's a quick quote from BLI to cap it all off: “The PaperCut family of print management solutions continues to grow more impressive with each iteration.”

Integration-corner.png

By inimitable integrator, Alec

For some time, we've been banging on about developing a new payment gateway API for folks who want to integrate third-party payment systems. Good news: we've actually done it!

Our new RESTful API

As many of you will know, the old API required you to create a Java plugin file and deploy it to the PaperCut MF application server.

But our new API is RESTful, so PaperCut MF will talk to your payment service across the network. And that means no plugins required, and the ability to develop in whatever language/framework you like (as long as it supports RESTful API calls).

Questions? Hankering for some other integration information? Ping us at integration-dev-support@papercut.com or at our Google Group.
