Hi There,

It’s been a buzzing hive of activity at PaperCut recently! We’re busy prepping for 19.1, so we hope you’re as excited as we are.

Our new super supportive support page

Support Page

Continuing with our customer-first theme, we recently revamped the PaperCut Support Page. Along with a fresh new lick of paint, our souped-up support page is now a lot better at:

  • highlighting the difference between support contacts for PaperCut MF and NG
  • helping customers reach PaperCut through multiple channels
  • directing customers to our self-help resources.

Above anything, we want to help customers reach a quick, satisfying, and simple resolution as well as help them reach out to you through your contact details in the admin interface.

Take a tour below, and feel free to send through any feedback.

New Muratec support + API beta

The Muratec MSP platform is one we’ve supported since 2015. With Konica Minolta (KM) adopting it for their own monochrome 28e device in the US, we’re glad to say we’ve added support for the 28e with release 19.0.7 of PaperCut MF.

The 28e uses the same KM license as all other KM devices, and you’ll need to get in touch with your KM contact for the relevant documentation and firmware. Your ASC can help you with contact information if needed.

We’re also psyched to announce the beta of our Network Payment API on the payment developers group. It lets you provide payment services without writing a custom Java plugin – that means no need to deploy your code on the PaperCut MF server and use any development language you like!

Interested? Head over to the developer group for more information, or get in touch at integration-dev-support@papercut.com with any questions.

Digital document versioning – now on paper!

QRDoc

We've recently launched our awesome new free product, QRdoc. It’s a simple versioning tool that stamps PDF and paper documents with a unique QR code to unlock powerful digital features. How powerful? Well, now you can:

  • get hold of the latest version of a document
  • perform digital searches on paper
  • email paper documents without scanning
  • open the digital copy of a printed document anywhere
  • follow printed documents, magazines, and more – and get notified when new versions come out!

Try it out now at qrdoc.io and read the backstory on why we developed it. You’ll also see the distinctive QRdoc code on a few bits and bobs from us in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled!

Good things come in twos this issue: two new KBs and two updates covering some great stuff, like configuring Mobility Print behind a network load balancer.
