It’s been a full-on month for us PaperCutters: 13 new KBs, the global rollout of our new pricing model, and the release of version 19.0 of PaperCut MF and NG. Try to keep up!

Server-command and Web Services API better than ever

With the Integrations team beefed up, we're developing some highly requested upgrades to the Web Services API to make user management easier. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for some rather geeky features, including:

• Easier automatic management of occasional users, and removal of dormant users – now you can see the date of their last activity directly from the API or server-command utility.
• PaperCut MF user lookup by email address or user alias – especially helpful if you don’t know a username, but have the email address.
• Management of Print Release delegation via the API or server-command utility – now you can easily apply organization changes in PaperCut MF.
• Improved API security token management – for example, admins can set multiple authorization tokens to allow or deny access to our PaperCut Web Services API.

Don’t forget to join our API Google Group to get the latest details.

End of life for v16 of PaperCut MF/NG

We’ll be ending support for version 16 on May 31 for customers with standard support, and December 31 for customers with current M&S.

Please let your customers know – and remind them there’s no better time to upgrade to PaperCut MF/NG version 19.0!

If they’re upgrading to PaperCut NG 19.0, it’s all easily done with a standard install-over-the-top procedure.
