PaperCut MF 16.3 in General Release

From September 27, PaperCut MF 16.3 is out of Early Access and in General Release. The latest build (no 38241) was a Maintenance Release on October 5. Download from the Portal.

Version 16.3 highlights include:

  • Konica Minolta now with Integrated Scanning
  • Konica Minolta enhanced card reader support
  • System info added to the About tab
  • Printer/Device Groups filter now in Ad-hoc reports

PaperCut MF for Sindoh
We have temporarily removed the Integrated Scanning support references for Sindoh devices from the PaperCut website due to critical issues yet to be resolved by Sindoh. We will keep you updated as this progresses.

Marco's Technology Tradeshow, USA 
With over 800 attendees including a mix of admin, tech support and up to C level executives, the Minneapolis event was a great way for PaperCut and our ASC ecoprintQ to meet local customers and experience firsthand the trends and technology solutions from some of the most trusted names in the industry.

Plankomat & Symbiosys Reseller Workshop, SA
Hosting a 2-day PaperCut Workshop at their Johannesburg headquarters, fellow ASCs, Plankomat along with Symbiosys, welcomed some of their key resellers to showcase their innovative product range.

A highlight of the event was the launch of the locally developed Payment Gateway, inteliPAY and Account Loading kiosks, allowing educational users to utilize their smartphones to transfer "cash" into their PaperCut accounts from anywhere in the world, using a leading smartphone app called SnapScan.

Authentication methods including local biometrics, mobile phone technology (Twist & Release / Twist & Pay) were also demonstrated in various forms.

Updated each month to give you a summary of new Knowledge Base articles and changes, here's what happened in September:

macOS 10.12 (Sierra) Known Issues - New KB on upgrading to the latest version of macOS.

Importing users from multiple domains - Updated with Custom User Sync Integration examples.

Implementation guide for IT and network managers - Updated with a new link to the NG Implementation Guide.

Displaying older print logs - Updated with details to configure the default number of days displayed.

Embedded Platform Timeout Settings - Updated with newer Lexmark timeout setting information.
